Final Table Set at the European Poker Tour Monte Carlo
Day 4 action at the EPT Monte Carlo started with 24 competitors. During the day notable players were eliminated including Martin Hruby. All in with A-5, he found himself up against Salvatore Bonavena and his A-10. Unfortunately for Hruby a ten came on the flop and he never caught up. Hruby ended in 22nd place and received a nice prize of €50,000. The Swedish player Ramzi Jelassi was knocked out in 19th place by Jean Francois Talbot. Jelassi took home €50,000. Kevin Eyster, who began the day as the chip leader, moved all-in over the top of an opening race from Roger Hairabedian holding AQ. Hairabedian called with QQ. The board brought no ace and Eyster was eliminated in 16th place (€60,000). Other important eliminations came in the form of Sami Kelopuro 12th (€80,0000), Salvatore Bonavena 11th ( €80,000), Matt Perrins 10th (€100,000) and Craig McCorkell 9th (€100,000).
The remaining 8 players will advance into the final table. The chip leader is Nicholas Chouity. He holds a stack of 10,280,000. Chouity comes from Beirut and he started on the EPT circuit a couple of years ago. In the last year’s EPT Monte Carlo he finished in 50th position. He got €31000.
