The Poker Pro Daniel Negreanu Reveals His 2010 WSOP Program
The professional poker player Daniel Negreanu recently announced his 2010 World Series of Poker schedule. This year’s WSOP will take place at Harrah’s Rio Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and it starts on May 28. There are a total number of 57 tournaments and Negreanu plans to play in 36 of them: No Limit Hold’em (10), Mixed Events (6), Omaha Eight or Better (4), Limit Hold’em (4), Pot Limit Omaha (3), 2-7 Lowball (3), Seven Card Stud (2), Seven Card Stud Eight or Better (2), Pot Limit Hold’em (1), Razz (1).
Negreanu will enter in all of the $10,000 buy-in World Championship events, the $50,000 Players Championship and the Main Event. Beside those he will play smaller tournaments like Limit Hold’em, No Limit Hold’em Shootout and HORSE.
Negreanu sated in his blog: “My guess based on past years is that of the 36 events, I’ll actually end up playing in about 26 of them.”
In the 2009 WSOP he reached two final tables and earned eight cashes. In 2008 he earned five cashes and made two final tables. Negreanu also got his fourth WSOP bracelet. In 2007 he made two final tables.
