Dwyte Pilgrim Wins Third WSOPC Ring

last week by winning the $340 buy-in tournament at the World Series of Poker Circuit stop at Harrah’s Rincon, in San Diego, added another title to this portfolio. For the great performance Pilgrim captured his third WSOP Circuit gold ring and a nice check of $13,392.
Over the last 15 months the Brooklyn-born poker pro in the WSOPC events has recorded three victories, 10 final table appearances and 18 cashes. In March 2009 at the Caesars Atlantic City Circuit Event he registered his first victory. He collected a prize worth $83,955. The second one came at the Harrah’s Rincon Main Event. Pilgrim took home a big prize of $125,775. He also got a $10,000 seat into the WSOP Main Event. In May 2009 he was named the “unofficial” WSOP Circuit Player of the Year.
The third ring that Pilgrim obtained last week at Harah’s Rincon ties him for second place all-time with Chris Ferguson, one behind Men “The Master” Nguyen, who has four. Overall from tournament winnings Pilgrim collected $640,000.
In 2010 clearly he is in a very good shape. In the month of February he recorded two victories at the World Poker Tour Southern Championship. He also was successful in the Mega Stack Challenge XV which took place at the Foxwoods Resort Casino.
But Pilgrim doesn’t want to stop here. With WSOP Circuit stops in St. Louis, Las Vegas and New Orleans before the end of the season, he plans to play as many events as he can.
