Tom Dwan Loses $120k in Favor of the Mystery Swede
Tom “durrrr” Dwan recently entered Full Tilt’s virtual high stakes tables and engaged in several battles with other online pros.
First he battled with Cole South at $200/$400 Pot-Limit Omaha. Unperturbed by South’s fantastic results over the last two months, Dwan after 2,011 hands took from him $299k. Then he fought with Gus Hansen, Di “Urindanger” Dang and skjervoy. This time he did not record a very good result. At $200/$400 PLO he lost in favor of his opponents approximately $70k. Hansen took the biggest part from Dwan’s loss.
After the other players at the table had their fill, Islidur1 took his seat. Again, Dwan took a beat. The Swede after just 24 hands made $59,684. Then both players agreed to move to heads-up $100/$200 No-Limit Hold’em. Isildur1 finished victorious in the match. He managed to double his profit adding another $59,054. Encouraged by the important win Isildur1 decided to play with Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond at $100/$200 and $200/$400 PLO. The Swede lost, but fortunately from him the amount was not so big. Galfond took from him $18k.
In total, Isildur1 finished the day up $48,655. Dwan, after a few successful matches recouped some of his losses. Overall he was down just $5,343.
