Gangster Arrested For Manslaughter Charges After He Won $364000 Poker Tournament.
24 hours later after he won the 2009 BC Poker Championships Sophon Sek was arrested for his part in the Surrey Six killings.
Sek has links with the Canadian gang known as the Red Scorpions who are based in the British Columbia. This organization is involved in numerous illegal activities, primarily drug trafficking.
Aside drug trafficking they have been linked to some of the horrifying shootings including the aforementioned murdering of six people in to a Whalley condominium in 2007.
Sophon Sek is accused that he gave access to the killers in the Balmoral Tower.
Vice-president of the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, Howard Blank said based on the Sek arrest that that they were informed by the RCPM that is the same person who won the tournament and had been requested that the funds for his winnings to be held.
